Keystone Bike Park was one of the first true down hill bike parks me and my Minnesota riding pals had ever riden. It was back in 2005 when me and a few friends packed up my old 4runner, threw the bikes up top and headed to Colorado.

It was a 16 hour drive from Minnesota taking shifts behind the wheel. Our lodging was composed of couches and floors for the duration of the trip. The four of us still talk about this trip and is still one of my favorites. Discovering a whole new level of riding and the comradery of guys that are as driven to ride and progress as I was.
Over the years we made some return trips and managed to spend a few day riding Keystone again this summer, nine years later. The park has made some impressive improvements over the years. Their trail system now caters to very broad range of riders but still has its raw and rugged riding style that we fell in love with all those years ago.
One of the hardest part of action sports is taking the time to capture photos. A couple weeks ago a friend of mine volunteered to be the photographer for the day. We spent a solid day of and shooting. With Everetts keen eye behind the lens we managed to get some sweet shots.
